Cuttack: The Orissa High Court today allowed sale and use of only green crackers that are approved by the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) during the Diwali festival.
The court has allowed only bursting of green crackers from 8.00 PM to 10.00 PM.
Notably, All Odisha Fireworks Dealers’ Association had filed a petition in the court requesting to allow sale and use of green crackers during Diwali in the state.
