Berhampur: Dr. Gopabandhu Dash, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the residential office of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, has been awarded the Doctor of Literature (DLitt) Degree in Political Science.
Dr. Dash, who also serves as the Political Secretary of the Chief Minister, has done his DLitt on the topic ‘Indo-South African Cooperation in the 21st Century: A Study’ under the supervision of Dr. JK Mohapatra, former professor of Political Science and former Vice-Chancellor Berhampur University.
Dr. Dash will be conferred with the DLitt Degree at the Annual Convocation of Berhampur University, a notification issued by the varsity said.
Expressing happiness after being awarded the Degree, he advised other researchers to do hard work.
During his illustrious career, the soft spoken renowned bureaucrat earlier had served as the additional secretary at the Chief Minister’s Office.
