Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has said that the students of Odisha are no way less than others and given the opportunity they will create history. The Olympic Medal is an example for this. He was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the second phase of the High Schools Transformation program under 5T Initiatives.
The Chief Minister inaugurated ten transformed High Schools in Hinjilicut Constituency today. The program was attended by a number of Ministers and Members of Legislative Assembly. Chief Secretary Suresh Mahapatra, Mo School Chairman Sasmita Bagchi, Collector Ganjam Vijay Amruta Kulange and other officials and dignitaries were also present on the occasion. 5T Secretary V K Pandian moderated the program.
On August 21st, the Chief Minister had inaugurated ten High Schools that were transformed with state of the art facilities and infrastructure including E-library, digital classrooms, advanced computer labs, science laboratories and other essential infrastructure. 50 schools in Ganjam’s Hinjilicut have been transformed as part of this ambitious program.
Speaking on the occasion, Naveen cited the example of Hockey Olympic medal and said that Odisha had the opportunity to grow in Hockey Game and when it got the right encouragement, we were able to bring the medal after 41 years. He stressed on creating opportunities in every field.
Speaking to the students, Naveen said that the school life is the best life for them and the transformation is for he school students. This will create opportunity for your future development. He also said that the 5T Initiatives have taken an important role in transforming the schools.
The transformation program started from Hinjili is attracting interest from all and this has added a new page in Odisha’s education history.
