OYO Founder Meets Odisha CM, To Create More Jobs In State

Bhubaneswar: Ritesh Agarwal, founder of OYO Rooms, met CM Naveen Patnaik Thursday at the Lok Seva Bhawan here. He discussed about the future plans of OYO Rooms in Odisha with the Chief Minister. During the meeting, Ritesh said, “My home state Odisha continues to inspire and excite more young people to become entrepreneurs”.

Explaining about the investment prospects of OYO in Odisha, he said, that investments in Odisha are at a continuous rise. OYO has already 7500 rooms in the State and it is actively considering to keep investing in hotels, hostels and homes.

Spelling out his entrepreneurial success in Odisha, Ritesh said, Last year OYO served hundreds of thousands of customers in Odisha, brought 5000 jobs and we will bring more jobs to the State of Odisha.

During the meeting with Naveen, specifically praised the development of the tourism sector in the state and said the heritage corridor at Puri, the pilgrim city, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. People from across the world visit Puri for various purposes including normal holidaying and religious tourism.
The infrastructure at Puri is growing and he is very excited about the opportunities lying ahead.
