Pandian Undertakes Early Morning Review of Baramunda ISBT Works

Bhubaneswar: 5T Secretary V K Pandian today undertook an early morning review of the development of the Inter-State Bus Terminal at Baramunda. He, along with BMC Commissioner Sanjay Singh, Works Secretary Kishan Kumar and CM’s Special Secretary Vineel Krishna visited the construction site at Baramunda and had an on the ground experience of the progress going on. He interacted with the officials on various aspects including early completion of the project. Pandian also visited the adjacent areas that are part of this project that will transform the existing Bus Stand into an international standard Bus Terminal.

The ISBT at Baramunda is being developed at an estimated cost of 180 Crore rupees and will be complete in another one year. Once completed the new Bus Terminal will have multi-level parking facility, advanced amenities such as Wi-Fi connectivity, real-time parking information display system, coordinated transit information system for intra or inter-city bus services and other modern services.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had visited the site in December last year to review the progress of the Terminal.
