New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices were hiked for the 7th straight day on Saturday after the state-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) ended their 82-day pause in rate revision on June 7.
After today price revision, while petrol became 59-61 paise costlier, diesel prices increased by 50-60 paise in major cities across the country.
The retail price of petrol has gone up by Rs 3.90 per litre and that of diesel by nearly Rs 4 a litre in the past six days.
In Bhubaneswar, petrol price today is Rs 75.53 per litre. It was retailing Rs 75.26 on Friday.
