Pfizer First Company In India To Apply For Emergency Use Authorization For Covid-19 Vaccine

New Delhi: Pfizer India has become the first company in India to apply for the import and distribution of its Covid-19 vaccine for Emergency Use. The company has submitted its request with the Drugs Controller General Of India. The American company in association with German Partner BioNTech are developing the mRNA based Covid-19 vaccine.

The United Kingdom has already approved the emergency use authorization to the developers on Wednesday. The Vaccine developed by Pfizer claims to be 95 percent successful in protection against the Covid-19 vaccine. It is expected that the vaccine will make its way into the UK by next week.
