PM Modi Inaugurates 17-Acre ‘Aarogya Van’ Near Statue Of Unity In Gujarat

Kevadia (Gujarat): Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his two-day official visit to his home state of Gujarat and inaugurated the ‘Arogya Van’ and ‘Arogya Kutir’ in Kevadia of Narmada district on Friday. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Governor Acharya Devvrat were also present.

Arogya Van has 5 lakh plants of 380 different species spread over an area of 17 acre. Arogya Kutir has a traditional treatment facility named Santhigiri wellness centre which will provide healthcare based on Ayurveda, Siddha, Yoga and Panchakarma.

PM Modi is visiting his home state first time since the COVID-19 outbreak and the subsequent lockdown in March, to mark Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, celebrating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

During the visit, he is scheduled to flag off Ekta Cruise Service to the Statue of Unity and inaugurate Ekta Mall and Children Nutrition Park there. He will also unveil the Statue of Unity website in all UN official languages and the Kevadia App at the Unity Glow Garden.
