Puri Gajapati, Sankaracharya and Management Committee Meetings Underway

Puri: Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb and chief administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Krishan Kumar have met Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati on Friday evening and holding meeting to decide on the celebration of this year’s Chandan Yatra and Rath Yatra here.

According to the report, Puri Collector Balwant Singh is also present in the meeting, which is going on till this news report filed.

Earlier on the day addressing a press meeting, Puri Gajapati said that decision on the Rath Yatra preparations will be taken after discussion with the Shankaracharya this evening and as per the new guidelines to be issued by the Government after May 3.
