Rainy Raja In Odisha Expected As Monsoon To Hit State In Next Three To Four Days

Bhubaneswar: The South-West Monsoon is likely to hit Odisha in the next three days. The conditions are favourable for the monsoon clouds to enter Odisha and rains are likely at many places by Wednesday. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the Monsoon will be active in some places of Gujarat, Marathwada, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand. The three days raja festivities in Odisha are likely to be impacted by Monsoon rains.

Some places of the state are already witnessing pre-Monsoon rains. The weather is cloudy and the temperatures have come down in many districts. Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj may witness lightning and thunder storms.
