Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has thanked all as chariots of Lord Jagannath and His celestial siblings’ Lord Balbhadra and Goddess Subhadra reached the Gundicha temple in the pilgrim city of Puri today.
Naveen, who watched the live telecast of the world famous festival from his home, expressed his gratitude to the servitors, police, Puri district administration, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration and other departments for their relentless work for the smooth conduct of Gundicha Yatra of Lord Jagannath.
The CM also thanked the people of Puri for their cooperation.
Amidst beating of cymbals, blowing of conch shells and chanting of ‘Hari Bol’, the chariots of Lord Jagannath and his celestial siblings’ Lord Balbhadra and Goddess Subhadra reached the Gundicha temple before time.
