Sambalpur: Section Officer at Headquarter Hospital (D.H.H), Sambalpur has been arrested by the vigilance sleuths while he was taking bribe from a hospital staff.
The accused Section Officer has been identified as Manoranjan Pradhan.
Pradhan has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while he was demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.10,000 from a staff for release of his arrear salary.
The entire bribe money has been recovered from Pradhan and seized, the Vigilance said.
Simultaneous searches have been launched on properties of Pradhan at three places in Sambalpur district.
