Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian Turns Saviour, Takes Accident Victim to Hospital in Puri

Puri: Showing his humane face yet again during the current pandemic, Secretary to Odisha CM (5T) VK Pandian has come to the rescue of an accident victim in Puri on Saturday.

The soft-spoken IAS officer rushed the accident victim to the hospital as soon as he found her in critical condition on the side of a road.

As per reports, Pandian found the injured young woman in critical condition on the road while he was going to Puri. He immediately took the woman to the hospital in his personal car.

The woman has been identified as Annapurna Sahu of Haldia area in Puri district, who was working in a TVS showroom.

Annapurna sustained critical injuries when her moped crashed at Maltipatpur while she was traveling. At that time, Pandian was going to Puri. He alighted from the car and took the victim to the Puri Sadar General Hospital in his car. On getting information, Kumvarpada police IIC reached the hospital.

The 5T Secretary enquired about the health condition of Annapurna with medical staffs and asked them to take care of her and left the hospital.
As per the latest reports, Annapurna has been discharged from hospital after proper treatment and is keeping well.

Meanwhile, this humane response by the 5T Secretary has been highly appreciated by the people across the State.
