Bhubaneswar: Inspired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s good governance and people-centric developmental works, several young leaders from BJP and Congress from Gopalpur Assembly Constituency in Ganjam district joined the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Thursday.
Over 30 young leaders from BJP and Congress took the membership of the ruling party at an induction programme here in the presence of BJD Organizational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das.
The newly-joined members are from Rangailunda block of Gopalpur Assembly Constituency.
The BJD Organizational Secretary welcomed them to the party fold and said their joining will further strengthen the party in the constituency.
