Srimandira Heritage Corridor: Maha Yagna Underway At Rajanahara Before Wednesday’s Silanyaas Program

Puri: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the ambitious Puri Heritage Corridor Project on Wednesday. While the district administration is busy in preparations for the much awaited program, a three day Maha Yagna is being held at the Kings Palace or the Raja Nahara before the foundation stone laying ceremony. The sacred religious program started yesterday with the Gua Teka, Ankuropana and other rituals. The three day Maha Yagna started today with rituals such as Panchakarma and Brahmanabarana with 33 Shrotriya Brahmins participating in it.

All the rituals are being held according to the traditions and direct supervision of Gajapati Maharaja Dibya Singha Deva . Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the Puri Heritage Corridor Project within the 75 meter corridor of the Puri Jagannath Temple.
