Puri: The stage is set for the culmination of the nine day world famous Ratha Yatra in Puri with the return of the trinity to the Sri Jagannath Temple.
Today, on the occasion of Bahuda Yatra, Lord Jagannath, along with his siblings brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra, will begin their journey from their Aunt’s house to the Sri Mandira.
The district administration has made all required arrangements for the Bahuda Jatra. While all the rituals will be restricted to servitors only, the total district has been put under curfew. Strict security arrangements have been made to keep devotees away in view of Coronavirus pandemic. Seventy platoons of police force and four hundred police officers have been deployed in the city.
