Bhubaneswar: In a major development, the IMS and SUM Hospital Bhubaneswar got approval for conducting COVID-19 testing today.
This has been informed by the Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department.
Currently, the COVID-19 testing is being conducted at the Regional Medical Research Center (RMRC); Odisha, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS); Bhubaneswar; SCB Medical College Hospital, Cuttack; Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research (VIMSAR), Burla; Ispat General Hospital (IGH), Rourkela and Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar.
With this approval, one more COVID testing facility has been added in Odisha.
As on 11th May, midnight, 68057 samples have been tested & 437 cases have been tested positive till today 2 pm, the Health Department said.
