Sundargarh Admin Recruits 81 Docs, 402 Paramedics for Better Health Services in Rural Areas

Rourkela: In a bid to provide quality health services to the people in the rural areas, the Sundargarh administration has recruited as many as 81 doctors and 402 paramedics at different healthcare facilities in the district.

With the financial support of DMF Sundargarh, the doctors and paramedical staffs have been recruited at the primary and community health centers, District Headquarter Hospital and Rourkela Government Hospital.
Talking the recruitment, Sundargarh Collector Nikhil Pavan Kalyan said, “It will help a lot in taking care of healthcare in rural and remote areas”.

“We are able to attract talent also by bringing doctors back to remote areas where they are much needed, by providing better remunerations and other facilities”, he said.

The district administration is fully prepared to deal with the possible third wave of COVID-19 pandemic, the Collector added.
