Bhubaneswar: Senior administrative officer Suresh Kumar Vashishth has been appointed as the new Special Secretary to Government of Odisha, Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department.The 1998 batch IAS officer is currently on Central Deputation.
According to a notification from the General Administration Department, the additional appointment of Dr. Pramod Kumar Meherda as Special Secretary to Government, Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department shall stand terminated from the date Vashishth takes over the charge.
In addition to this, 2008 Batch IAS Officer Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar, Joint Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, has been appointed as Director-Cum-Joint Secretary, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department.
