Bhubaneswar: Swordsmen made Odisha at the 12th National Wheelchair Fencing Championship in Chennai.
Odisha swordsmen bagged two Gold and two Silver medals at the championship held between 26 and 28 July at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai.
In Men’s Foil, V Ramesh Rao won Gold, while Prafulla Kumar Khandayatray clinched Silver at the championship.
Similarly, Malati Panaure and Sheela Mantri won Gold and Silver medals, respectively at the event, which was organized by Tamil Nadu Wheelchair Fencing Association under the auspices of Wheelchair Fencing and Amputee Sports of India.
