Koraput: Tribal Development Co-operative Corporation of Odisha Ltd (TDCCOL) has opened a processing and warehousing facility at Sunabeda in Koraput district for curing parchment & cherry coffee, clean coffee grading and storage.
The unit will facilitate the marketing of parchment and cherry of small and marginal tribal farmers with a view to ensure remunerative price to them.
TDCCOL will directly procure parchment and cherry from farmers through aggregation centres on mutually agreed price with direct beneficiary transfer (DBT), informed TDCCOL Managing Director Mansi Nimbhal while adding that the micro testing lab will be set up soon.
TDCCOL has been working to facilitate the marketing of tribal produces through its 11 exclusive Tribal World Outlets known as ‘ADISHA’ in six districts in the State and dedicated mobile shop ‘Tribals on Wheels’.
