Trishul And Dhwaza Sthapana Completed On New Taratarini Temple

Berhampur: One of the most important rituals of the Pratistha Mahotsav that marks the completion of the process of setting up of a new temple, the installation of the Trishul and Dhwaza on the shikhara has been completed at the newly built Maa Taratarini Temple in Ganjam. With this, the six day Pratishtha Mahotsav also came to an end on Friday.

The installation of the Parshwa Deba Debi also concluded today. The Pratistha Mahotsav was conducted by 108 Pujakas amidst chanting of mantras and slokas.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had on Wednesday participated and offered prayers at the Pratistha Mahotsav of the Taratarini Temple. All the rituals were completed in the presence of thousands of devotees today.

Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange was present at the Trishul and Dhwaza Sthapana utsav today.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took to Twitter and said, “With the blessings of Maa Taratarini, the installation ceremony has completed at the new Temple. May Maa Taratarini bless all. Jaya Maa Taratarini.”
