Virat Kohli Takes First Dose of COVID Vaccine

New Delhi: Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli today received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination.

Kohli took to social media to inform about it and urged others to get vaccinated “as soon as you can”.

Earlier, other national cricketers such as Shikhar Dhawan, Ishant Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane also got vaccinated.

Indian team will be soon leaving for a prolonged England tour that includes five-match Test series (August 4) before the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand (from June 22).

Recently, Kohli, along with wife Anushka Sharma, donated Rs 2 crore in India’s fight against Covid-19.
