Bhubaneswar: Eleven districts in Odisha will witness thunderstorm and rainfall on Tuesday, predicts the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
Moderate thundershower and lightning with one or two spells of intense rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Boudh, Sonepur, Kandhamal, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Angul, Deogarh, Sundergarh and Keonjhar, the IMD said.
The weather condition in these areas is likely to prevail till 10.15 AM today.
Earlier, Odisha Special Relief Commissioner Bishnupada Sethi urged the collectors of all districts to remain prepared for tacking the possible flood situation in view of the heavy rainfall forecast by the India Meteorological Department.
