Zero Tolerance to Corruption: Four Odisha Govt Officials Given Compulsory Retirement

Bhubaneswar: Continuing its policy of zero tolerance towards corruption, the Odisha Government today gave compulsory retirement to four officials including two from OAS on charges of corruption and gross inefficiency.

The four officers are Janakinath Mishra, Deputy Collector, Angul; Akula Mallik, Tahasildar, Nuagada, Gajapati; Lalatendu Satpathy, District sub-Registrar, Dhenkanal and former Chief District Veterinary Officer, Nuapada Dr. Trilochan Dhal.

The compulsory retirement of these officers is effective from October 5, according to an official order.
With this, a total of 122 officers have been placed under compulsory retirement on charges of corruption and incompetent.
