Zero Tolerance to Corruption: Odisha Govt Acts against 14 Tainted Officials

Bhubaneswar: Following Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s policy of zero tolerance approach to corruption, the Odisha Government on Tuesday took strong action against 14 tainted officials involved in corruption cases and amassing assets more than their known sources of income.

The Chief Minister has always laid importance on maintaining high morals and integrity in public life. He has adopted a zero-tolerance approach against inefficient and corrupt officials. He continues to strive to provide services to the public through transparent, efficient and accountable administration.

According to this approach of the State Government, strong action has been taken against 14 more officials.

One Superintending Engineer, two Assistant Engineers, One DSP, one CDPO, one Forest Range Officer, One Tahsildar, One BDO, one Senior Manager, one Tax Collector, One Supply Inspection and three Junior engineers were among these sixteen officials on whom action was taken.
