Berhampur: As many as 11 government-run healthcare centres including City Hospital Berhampur, in Ganjam district have received the ISO certification for quality management system.
Taking to Twitter, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange informed that 11 health institutions in Ganjam have been ISO certified for providing standard and quality health services as per ISO.
Besides City Hospital Berhampur, other hospitals, such as Sub Divisional Hospital (SDH) Hinjlicut, SDH Aska, CHC Khandadeuli, PHC Bhanja Vihar, CHC Gobara, CHC Bellaguntha, CHC Badagada, CHC Jagannath Prasad, CHC Belagum, CHC Chilkiti have got the ISO 9001-2015 certification.
The certification has been accorded to these healthcare institutions for maintaining quality management system in providing OPD, IPD, emergency services, diagnosis services under NIDAN Progarmme, free distribution of drugs under NIRAMAYA, family planning, maternal & child health services, immunization services, disease control programme services, counseling services, non-communicable disease services.
