Bhubaneswar: Hirakud dam authorities today opened two more gates to discharge the flood waters from the reservoir.
With this, as many as 46 sluice gates of the dam have been opened to release water from the reservoir as the water level has risen due to incessant rains in the upper catchment areas.
As per the latest report, the water level stood at 626.81 feet against the danger level of 630 feet.
