Bhubaneswar: A day after Odisha reported its 3rd COVID-19 positive case, the State Government on Friday included five more Secretaries as members of the Committee of Secretaries to review and ensure coordinated response of various departments for prevention and containment of the virus outbreak.
According to a Health and Family Welfare Department notification, Principal Secretaries of Labour & ESI Department and Industries Department, and Commissioner-sum-Secretary of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department and Works Department and Secretary of E&IT Department have been additionally included as members of the Committee of Secretaries.
Earlier on March 13, the State Government formed a 14-member committee of Secretaries led by Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy to review the emerging situation and ensure effective and swift coordinated response of various departments for prevention and containment of the disease.
