Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today called all people to come together for building a new Odisha. In a message to the people of Odisha on the eve of Republic Day, Naveen has paid homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India’s independence. He also paid homage to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, Moulana Azad, Dr B R Ambedkar, Dr Rajendra Prasad, Utkalamani Gopabandhu Das, Madhusudan Das, Nabakrushna Choudhury, Sahid Laxman Nayak, Vir Surendra Sai, Rama Devi and Biju Patnaik on the occasion.

In a message released today, Naveen Said, “India is the Country of Mahatma Gandhi – a country of truth and Non-violence. India is a country of people with different ideologies and different beliefs. Taking all beliefs and ideologies along India has been progressing on the way of development and could make a distinct position for itself. The states have also contributed to the development of the nation. To fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the four and half crore people, Odisha today is moving on the path of development. Odisha has achieved the second fastest mover state status in India in achieving Sustainable Development Goals. Farmers, women, labour force and youth are the backbone of our economy. Their empowerment has helped us strengthen the development process. 5T has become a model for the nation in the field of good governance. the 5T Mantra has become popular by providing better and on time services to the people. Our Mo Sarkar Programme has strengthened the relationship between the government and the public. People’s faith in the system has risen.

The accountability of the administration has also increased. The land of Jagannath is the biggest identity of Odisha. The steps taken for the transformation of the Puri Dham and Ekamra Khestra have enriched the culture and arts of our state. Odisha today is progressing with a new determination. New Odisha will be a confident Odisha.

The youth of Odisha has the power to face all the challenges. We have achieved global benchmarks in facing natural disasters, habitation missions and sports etc. Service, Bravery, Efficiency and Commitment will be the identity of New Odisha.
