Pipili: 5T Secretary V K Pandian on Sunday visited the birth place of Pandit Gopabandhu Das in Suando village in Puri District and discussed about the various issues related to its development.
He was accompanied by District Collector Balwant Singh, Addl District Magistrate and other senior officers.
The 5T Secretary paid floral tributes to the statue of Gopabandhu during the visit.
According to sources, he also discussed about developing the infrastructure of the village and to make the birth place a heritage site.
The Government of Odisha is on a mission mode to develop all the heritage places of the state including the Jagannath Temple and Konark Temple.
Now, with the visit of 5T Secretary to Suando village, the work on developing the smaller but important heritages will be developed so as to conserve their heritage.
