Balangir: As part of the Mo Sarkar initiative, Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy and Secretary 5-T Initiatives V K Pandian today took stock of the healthcare facilities at the Bhima Bhoi Medical College And Hospital in Balangir.
The officials visited different wards of the hospital to assess the status of the healthcare services provided to the people.
NHM Mission Director Shalini Pandit and District Collector Arindam Dakua were also present.
The team interacted with the patients, enquired about the quality of treatment and the conduct of the medical staff.
Besides, they also took feedback of patients and their relatives about the disbursal of free medicines, food and diagnostics facilities.
The 5T team is visiting various districts to review implementation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s ambitious ‘Mo Sarkar’ programme.
On Wednesday, the team visited the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and discussed the issues related to the medical with the hospital superintendent and other officials.
