Naveen Remembers Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee on His 95th Birth Anniversary

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik remembered former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 95th birth anniversary today. 

Naveen paid his humble tributes to Vajpayee on the occasion.
The Odisha CM in a message described Vajpayee a charismatic leader, a parliamentarian par excellence, exceptional poet and eloquent orator.

“Atalji’s multifaceted personality & distinguished statesmanship is an inspiration for us”, Naveen said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind also paid their humble tributes to Vajpayee on the occasion.
Vajpayee was born on this day in 1924.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a statesman and a poet who served three terms as the Prime Minister of India, first for a term of 13 days in 1996, then for a period of 13 months from 1998 to 1999, and finally, for a full term from 1999 to 2004.

Vajpayee was known for his oratory skills, which was on display when he defended the nuclear tests in Pokhran in 1998.
