Bhubaneswar: The Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) of Odisha, Pradip Jena on Monday said that we are into the six months in the fight against Covid-19 and keeping in view the economy, announcing lock downs and shutdowns are not a solution anymore.
There is a need to ensure a balance between lives and livelihood, he further added.
Briefing media , he said, behavioral changes among the people are key in fight against the Coronavirus and both the government and people need to work together to curb the virus.
Certain behavioral changes like physical distancing, wearing masks and health awareness are need of the hour, said the SRC.
With the unlock-4, it has been witnessed that people have become careless to virus.
He further warned that from Wednesday onwards, stern action will be taken against those found violating Covid norms and guidelines.
