Bhanjanagar: Inspired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5T principles of governance, the Ganjam district project director walked more than 10 km to reach two remote villages to resolve peoples’ problems.
Ganjam PD Siddharth Shankar Swain travelled nearly four hours by walk in difficult terrain to remotest villages Tosinga and Chanchara in Pandiripada gram panchayat on Monday and inquired about the problems faced by the people there.
The official assured the administration will take necessary steps to resolve all problems of the villages at the earliest.
He also issued work order for the distribution of Indira Awas Yojana to the beneficiaries.
The villagers expressed great satisfaction on the visit of the official.
With the adoption of 5T action plan by the Odisha Government, there has been noticeable changes in the style of functioning of the officials, who are now taking more proactive measures for speedy delivery of services to the people.
