Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today offered prayers at the 11th century Lingaraj Temple, here in city.
He was given a grand reception at the temple. Union Minister Pratap Sarangi and Dharmendra Pradhan were accompanied the Home Minister.
Earlier on the day, he also visited Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri and spent more than an hour in the temple.
He also took the blessings of Mukti Mandap Pandit Sabha inside the temple at Puri.
Tight security arrangements were made near the temple with deployment of senior police officials and eight platoons of force around and inside the temple.
Amit Shah reached Odisha yesterday on a two day visit to chair the Eastern Zonal Council Meeting held at Bhubaneswar.
