Bhubaneswar: IndiGo, the low-cost airline is all set to start its direct flight operation between Bhubaneswar and Varanasi tonight.
According to schedule, the 72-seater IndiGO 6E-7972 the daily flight is scheduled to take off at 9.45 pm from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar and will land at around 11.40 pm at Varanasi.
With this, the tourism sector expected to get a major boost as both Bhubaneswar and Varanasi are considered as pilgrimage city.
Air India’s subsidiary Alliance Air has been operating flight services between the two cities since January 31.
