Bhubaneswar: Anup Sai has been expelled from the Biju Janata Dal with immediate effect, said a statement issued by the Odisha’s ruling party.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also removed Sai from the chairmanship of the State Warehousing Corporation.
Earlier today, the former MLA has been detained by the police in Chhattisgarh over his alleged involvement in a double murder case.
