Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal today organised a Shradhanjali Sabha and a Blood Donation camp at its party office here on the occasion of the 104th Birth Anniversary of Biju Patnaik.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik attended the Shradhanjali Sabha and offered floral tributes in memory of the legendary leader.
The Blood Donation camp was successfully held jointly by Biju Yuva Janata Dal and Biju Chattra Janata Dal which saw a large number of volunteers who donated blood in memory of Biju Patnaik at the party office.
A large number of BJD leaders, cadre and civil society thronged the Party Office on this momentous occasion.
The BJD has earlier announced to celebrate the 104th birth anniversary of Biju Patnaik for fifteen days starting from March 5 with much pump and gaiety.
