Bhubaneswar: The dead body found near Dhabaleswar temple in Cuttack does not belongs to the ODRAF personnel who was missing since yesterday’s boat tragedy. The NDRF search team today found a decomposed body of a person in the area while searching for Sitaram Murmu, the ODRAF jawan who went missing yesterday. SRC Pradeep Jena had tweeted this morning regarding finding of the dead body, which he later rectified and said that the body does not belong to Murmu.

In a tweet, SRC Pradeep Jena said “The info I shared about the missing ODRAF person as received from my office appears to be wrong. One decomposed body that is found is not identified by the family. Mr Murmu’s body not yet traced. Wrong info shared is deeply regretted.”
