Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the demise of Eminent Odia writer and Sarala award recipient Manoj Kumar Panda, who passed away on Thursday.
Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister said that he was saddened to know about the passing way of Sarala award winner and eminent litterateur Manoj Panda. His contribution to the field of literature will always be remembered, the CM added.
Naveen prayed for the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
ଶାରଳା ପୁରସ୍କାର ବିଜେତା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ସାହିତ୍ୟିକ ମନୋଜ ପଣ୍ଡାଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ସାହିତ୍ୟ ଜଗତରେ ସେ ଛାଡ଼ି ଯାଇଥିବା ସୃଜନସୃଷ୍ଟି ତାଙ୍କୁ ସର୍ବଦା ଅମର କରି ରଖିବ। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା ସହ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାର ବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି।

Panda passed away at his residence in Balangir town on Thursday. He was 66.
