Berhampur: The wait is over. The much-awaited Ramalingeswar Park in Berhampur will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tomorrow, giving a facelift to the 150-year-old iconic water park in the silk city.
The Chief Minister is expected to dedicate the renovated Ramalingeswar Park to the people of silk city at 5.30 pm on January 4 through virtual mode.
The Ramlingam water body is spread across 8.15 acres and has beautiful garden in 1500 sq meter area, six watch towers and water fountains.
Other attractions for the visitors at the park include Ramlingam statue 35 ft height, boating facility, 620 meter long elevated pathway, handicraft shopping complex, decorative lightings and tree decoration all along the tank.
