Cold Wave Condition to Prevail in Several Dists in Odisha till Feb 3

Bhubaneswar: Cold wave condition is very likely to prevail in several districts in Odisha till February 3.

According to Regional Meteorological Centre, severe cold wave condition is very likely to prevail over districts— Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh & Angul from Jan 31 to Feb 3.

Here are day-wise forecast of in connection with the cold wave.

* Day 1 (valid from 1330 hrs IST of 31.01.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 01.02.2021)– Cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh and Angul.

Day 2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 01.02.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 02.02.2021)– Cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh and Angul.

* Day 3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 02.02.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 03.02.2021)– Cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh and Angul.

People of the districts have been advised to stay indoors and avoid movement during night and early morning.
