Coronavirus Scare: Odisha Govt Makes Mandatory Thermal Screening of Passengers at Airport, Ports

Bhubaneswar: On the wake of two more persons tested positive for coronavirus in the county, the Odisha government has directed the authorities of  Airports and  Ports  to conduct thorough thermal screening of all passengers.

Meanwhile, the authority of Bhubaneswar Airport and Jharsuguda airports have been asked to check each and every passenger coming to the State with thermal screening and admit anyone showing symptoms of the virus to a hospital.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das, said “Till now, there is no report of any person afflicted with coronavirus in the State. The state government has already issued alert on this to all concerned officials and the state is fully prepared for any emergency situation.” he added.
