Coronavirus Update: Odisha Tourism Issues Advisory to Tourists, Hotellers

Bhubaneswar: In the wake of increasing positive cases of Coronavirus in the country, the Odisha Tourism Department has issued an advisory for its officials as well as the tourists visiting the State to prevent themselves from getting in touch with the virus.

As per the advisory on COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the owner/management of every hospitality unit letting out accommodation to guests will collect their detailed travel history of last three weeks.

Travelers are advised to repeated hand wash, cough etiquette, personal hygiene & also advised to avoid public gatherings.

Drivers or transport service providers engaged in transportation of symptomatic guests are advised to wear safety masks.

Similarly, the department has recommended the use of hypochlorite solution for disinfecting public areas and cleaning floors twice a day.
