Bhubaneswar: A day after Government announced number of measures to prevent spreading of deadly Coronavirus, the Nandankanan Zoological Park authorities on Saturday announced its decision to shut down the zoo with immediate effect.
“Nandankanan Zoo and State Botanical Garden is closed to public with effect from March 15, 2020 till March 31, 2020 as a precautionary measure against spreading of novel Coronavirus,” said an official release.
On Friday, the Odisha Government shut down all educational institutions and cinema halls, as a precautionary measure, till March 31.
Nobody was tested positive for the deadly virus so far in the State.
