Berhampur: Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) Commissioner Dr. Siddeshwar Baliram Bondar on Sunday visited a Dedicated COVID Health Centre (DCHC) in the city to take patient’s feedback on various aspects at the facility.
Accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Romachand Khamari, the BeMC Commissioner made a personal visit to the DCHC at Meenakshi Nagar, Govt ITI Ladies Hostel to review the ground situation.
As many as 76 patients are currently undergoing treatment at the health centre.
During his visit, Bondar interacted with the patients and enquired about the treatment, health, food, cleanliness and other facilities at the DCHC. He also interacted with the medical staffs.
The BeMC Commissioner said that it was part of his routine visit to take stock of the situation at the ground level.
The civic body has made all necessary arrangements to provide better treatment to the patients, he added.
Talking about the vaccination programme, the Commissioner said that vaccination of citizens above 45 years and above will continue from May 3 at three places – UPHC Askaroad, UPHC Goodshedroad and UPHC Khodasingi.
The vaccination of 18 to 44 years will be started soon, he added.
