COVID-19: Odisha Registers 616 New Cases, 6 Deaths in Last 24 Hours

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has registered 616 new positive cases of COVID-19 and six deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.

The six COVID-19 positive patients including four from Ganjam district died while under treatment in hospitals, the Health Department said.

Of the 616 new cases confirmed in 23 districts, 415 cases have been detected in quarantines, the rest 201 are the local contacts.

With this, Odisha’s COVID-19 tally jumped to 13737, out of which 4896 are active cases.

As many as 8750 patients have recovered from the infection and 70 patients succumbed to the virus.
