COVID-19: Odisha Reports Lowest Daily Caseload after Two Months

Bhubaneswar: In a major achievement in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, Odisha has reported its lowest daily caseload of coronavirus in two months.

As per the data shared by the Information and Public Relations Department, the State has registered less than 2,000 fresh positive cases in the last 24 hours, first time since August 14.

As many as 1982 positive cases have been detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours, the Department said on Monday.

The lowest daily caseload last time was on August 14 when the State had reported 1977 cases.

Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha reached 270346, including 2304 active cases as on October 19, the I&PR Department stated.
