Covid-19 Second Wave!: India’s Daily Cases Rise to Over 35,000, Highest Since Early Dec

New Delhi: India reported a huge spike of 35,871 fresh coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the highest since early December.

The Covid-19 situation is worsening day by day in Maharashtra as the state broke another record on Wednesday with 23,179 new cases, while the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) saw whopping 4,811 fresh cases in 24 hours.

With these new cases, Maharashtra’s overall infection count rose to 23,70,507.

Meanwhile Jharkhand Health Department has issued an instruction to all district officials to start a special campaign to check those not wearing masks and take action against them.
